The Mitchell family has raised cattle in Southern Alberta since the 1950s. Today Mitchell Bros Beef is operated by Philip and Bette Mitchell and their family at Flint Rock Ranch.

Feeding & Finishing
Cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Mitchell Bros states that its cattle receive no grain and graze approximately 1,000 acres of native fescue, grassland, forest and riparian areas with natural spring water.

Cattle live and graze on the ranchs native grasslands. Mitchell Bros emphasizes low-stress pasture-based cattle production and local processing. Beef is dry-aged for approximately 21 days.
Antibiotic Practices
Mitchell Bros states that cattle in its beef program never receive antibiotics.
