The Alberta Birds of Prey Centre in Coaldale is dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey and their habitats. The centre provides rescue and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned raptors, with the goal of returning suitable birds to the wild. Birds that cannot be released may become permanent residents and help with public education about Alberta owls, hawks, eagles and other birds of prey.
