Ferne's Acres Animal Sanctuary near Busby focuses on animals that can fall through the cracks of traditional rescue. It provides long-term shelter and veterinary care for animals whose medical or behavioural needs make adoption difficult, while helping suitable animals find loving homes. Its residents include dogs, cats and farm animals. The sanctuary works to give animals that are different, misunderstood or medically complex the opportunity to live full and well-cared-for lives.
