Our story.
Ehrenholz Farms is a multigenerational family cattle farm established in Barrhead County in 1952. Valerie Ehrenholz took over the operation in 2017 and expanded the farms direct-to-consumer beef program.

Feeding & Finishing
Cattle are mainly grass-fed. Ehrenholz Farms states that grain may occasionally be fed during difficult winter conditions when cattle require additional energy and may also be used in small amounts to calmly move cattle into corrals. Animals destined for the beef program are otherwise grass-fed.

Ehrenholz Farms manages cattle with animal well-being as the priority and uses grazing practices adapted to its mixture of pasture, woodland, hills and wetlands. The farm states that it does not administer added hormone injections.
