Feeding & Finishing
Galloway cattle are grass-fed and grass-finished. During summer the cattle graze pasture, while during fall and winter they receive high-quality haylage. The beef program is finished entirely on grass and forage.
Animal Care & Handling
Whispering Wind Farms states that its cattle are raised from birth with dignity and respect. Beef is government inspected and dry aged for a minimum of 21 days.
Antibiotic Practices
Whispering Wind Farms states that its marketed Galloway beef is raised without antibiotics or added hormones.
